@meave there was the brief Awesome Comics universe. Rob Liefeld was fired from Image, then stuff happened, then Alan Moore sort rebooted the universe and it actually looked pretty good, then more stuff happened and it was all cancelled. And since Liefeld had already ripped off DC pretty heavily (Supreme=Superman, Youngblood=Teen Titans, Glory=Wonder Woman, etc), the soft reboot just leaned into it & did silver age-y stuff.
So, there was an AC parallel to DC.
