As I don't know if I could vote my own poll: my choice is Matrix.
How could I recommend anyone using Element (and other clients) if I personally have problems to sync keys with to devices (three "sessions"). It's not just read past conversation history (a feature), it's about the annoying message of "couldn't retrieve this room's keys" so can not decrypt the message. Verify this that...

It's not imposible to master both, let me say, I've seen brave people doing it, but Average Joe (me) needs to read a couple of blog entries and finally try/error method until it works (it usually does).

The new Pixelfed website is much nicer and will include a federated forum, new documentation site, translation platform and improved instance picker.
It was a lot of work to built everything from scratch, but we'll be able to provide a better experience across the Pixelfed ecosystem for admins, developers and users!
